The problem that many skiers have finding a decent cup of coffee in many ski resorts, or when heading ion to the back country, could now be at an end thanks to the advent of the pump action ‘Minipresso’ which aims to make that lacklustre flask full of warm instant coffee a thing of the past.

The compact new Minipresso (its 175mm high) creates delicious espresso coffee shots of the extraction quality of a coffee machine any time anywhere in any part of the world that your skis take you.

Minipresso works with the help of the semi-automatic piston, where small quantities of hot water are injected into the coffee adapter. After a few simple thumb pushes, the optimal extraction pressure is achieved and a rich and bold espresso is extracted that you can enjoy on the highest mountain or the remotest ridge, there’s no power source required although you do need access to some hot water.  Weighing in at 360g the Minipresso is priced at £48.  For stockists go to www.eskimoagency.com
