If you are someone who already likes the Rossignol all mountain skis, you will really love the improvement on the Rossignol Soul 7 HD 2018.

With a 107mm waist and a powder turn rocker, the Soul 7 HD has an effortless float across powder, which makes those deep snow days a whole lot of fun. However this ski’s advantages aren’t limited to the soft snow. Rossignol’s Free V.A.S vibration dampening system means that this is a very versatile ski, that can deal easily with varying terrains and conditions.

Both off and on piste, we were very impressed with how stable the ski was for such a rockered tip. This could be due to the addition of the Air Tip 2.0 construction for this year, which has been designed to reduce tip chatter and maintain a consistent, smooth ride, even at the highest speeds.

Rossignol Soul 7 HD 2018 Ski Review

The Rossignol Soul 7 HD is a very decent ski, but we found it just didn’t grab our attention as much as the other skis we have tested this year. Standing alone, all the aspects of this ski were consistent, but we just felt it lacked a certain something when they were all put together.

It is a ski that is really easy to use and really nimble, but it didn’t make us particularly pumped to go skiing. However, perhaps we were just unfortunate for the day we skied it as conditions were particularly tough.

For the advanced skier looking for a smooth and stable ride day to day across the mountain, the Rossignol Soul 7 HD would make a good, reliable partner.
