The Line Sick Day 88 2018 is an amazing ski that holds a very good mix of piste capabilities and playfulness. Perfect as an all-round resort ski or a piste option, this ski was an absolute joy to ride.

In the Sick Day 88, Line have created a ski that is a lot of fun on piste, holding an edge well and bringing a lovely ease to short turns. If you like to ski at a pace, the Line Sick Day 88 is a great option. As soon as you get it up to higher speeds it’s super stable and absorbs bumps with ease. It also skis very smoothly at cruising speed, so is a great option for a skier who likes to charge down the piste, but also take it a bit more gently every now and then.

This was one of our favourite skis from this year’s testing. It was so much fun we wanted to take it out every day and were genuinely gutted when we had to give it up!

An 88mm waist makes the Line Sick Day 88 extremely versatile. It is impressive when it comes to carving on piste with lovely smooth edge to edge transition. However, it is also wide enough that it can maintain a good float over powder and is very lively over and around bumps. For an advanced skier that is most at home on piste, but would like the ability to hop on and off the piste, experiencing the whole mountain and making the most of the conditions, the Line Sick Day 88 is a great choice.

The more adventurous skier will love the playful, nimble nature of the Line Sick Day 88, which is almost as confident in the park as well as on the piste. It’s a ski that feels great doing jumps with a springy take-off and smooth landing. For a first-time buyer it’s a great one ski quiver, that will be give you ample support to develop your techniques across the mountain. However, it would also be a great choice as a piste orientated ski if you have something wider already!

Line Sick Day 88 2018 Ski Review

The Line Sick Day 88 is also a really nice looking ski. Though the graphics may be slightly feminine for some, we found it was still very desirable and has great rack appeal. At only £400, this ski offers fantastic value for money, keeping both you and your bank account happy this winter. We couldn’t recommend this ski more for an advanced skier looking to have a lot of fun on the mountain this season.
