A ski that is sure to remain popular for the 2017/18 season, the Line Sick Day 114 is a great powder chasing ski, ideal for an advanced skier who loves to have fun in the deeper snow.

Like many of the wider Line skis we tested this season, the buoyancy on this ski is seriously impressive. With a wide waist and an early rise and taper, it’s super floaty and really excels in deeper snow.

If you’re worried about the slightly longer length making the ski a bit clumsy or harder to control, don’t. The longer length isn’t a problem on this ski. It can do quick turns to shut off speed easily.

It’s nice and stable at higher speeds, making it a great choice for those skiers who want to really let themselves fly, never being held back. Magic Finger Filaments throughout the length of the ski keep the power flowing smoothly, while retaining the lightweight nature that makes this ski so great in the powder.

The Line Sick Day 114 is a ski that wants to go fast and do longer sweeping turns, because this is where its strengths lie. At lower speeds and with shorter turns, it doesn’t feel quite so comfortable, which in turn doesn’t instil the most confidence in the skier. If you are a more nervous skier that likes to stick to the piste, this ski may intimidate you slightly. Additionally, if you won’t be venturing much off piste, there are definitely other skis you might prefer.

However, if you are going to be charging through the powder rather than playing about on the groomers, this ski would be a great choice and will make sure that you have as much fun as possible on the mountain this season.
