There’s always some exciting new fashion trend at the start each ski season – functional, retro, urban chic – it’s always one thing or another.

This winter though it’s looking a little more colourful with a new interpretation of the onesie, and indeed the one piece ski-suit.

Kigu has come out with a wide ranging selection of onesies priced at only £39.99 which you can wear over your clothing, or as an apres ski outfit.

Choose from designs including a tiger, chipmunk, festive Rudolf the Reindeer, a dinosaur version featuring some fierce looking teeth and a staggering stegosaurus-style spine, a unicorn (pictured bottom) and even three French hens.

The Flying Squirrel onesie is particularly impressive featuring a big flappy pair of wings and a long plump tail, so you can swoop down the slopes and quite literally have the wind beneath your wings.

There’s also the waterproof and windproof Kigu named the skigurumi and retailing at £69.99. It’s available in panda, dinosaur and elusive blue unicorn.

“You get all the fun of the Kigu with the added bonus of dryness!” said a company spokesperson.
