K2 Super Charger 2018 Ski Review

A powerful ski that boasts a lot of unique technology, the K2 Super Charger is a ski that is not for the faint-hearted!

The construction is really something in the K2 Super Charger. Not only does it boast Triaxal braiding, but also an extended carbon grid, full-metal laminate and K2’s Full Rox technology. This means it is a powerful, stable, carving machine that gives a great ride down the pistes.

K2 have patented their Triaxal braiding construction, and we it’s clear to see why. It hits an incredible balance between rigidity under foot and dynamic flex throughout the ski. You don’t get many harsh vibrations with the K2 Super Charger and it has a very forgiving feel, which your legs will thank you for at the end of the day!

It’s not the most impressive ski off piste, which many piste skis are not. It will get you through softer snow and crud, but you won’t feel quite as confident in this ski’s abilities to help you out of a tricky spot. For this reason, if you are searching for a more versatile ski, we would suggest considering other options than the K2 Super Charger. However, if you are simply looking for a great, powerful, precise ski to rip up the pistes, stick with this one.

K2 Super Charger 2018 Ski Review

A really user friendly ski, the Super Charger requires a more advanced skier to get the most out of it.  At slow speeds it’s easy going and fairly slidey but as soon as you push it it starts working. Here it gets into its element – this is a ski that ski just loves to go fast. With a speed rocker enhancing agility and making turn transition easy as can be, you can really push this ski when it comes to pace. For a skier that likes to race (and win) the K2 Super Charger is definitely worth considering.
