K2 Alluvit 88 2018 Ski Review

Looking for a true all mountain ski? Look no further. The K2 AlLuvit 88 is a fantastic, playful ski that performs amazingly on all terrain.

Demonstrated in the high scores it received from our testing, we really enjoy this ski and believe it is definitely one of the better female-oriented all mountain skis on the market at the moment.

The K2 AlLuvit 88 really is the full package. Its 88 waist gives it beautiful float in softer snow, allowing good manoeuvrability off piste. An all terrain rocker also helps here, really enhancing the performance of this ski across more varied terrains.

However, this does not take anything away from the AlLuvit’s piste capabilities. Simply pop it onto an edge and away you go. The grip of this ski is impressive regardless of condition as Metal Laminate within the ski increases its already impressive edge hold when conditions get a little tough.

Whether you favour longer carving turns or short sharp, poppy turns turns, this ski always delivers on piste.

The women’s specific flex pattern in the BioFlex Konic Nanolite Core keeps the ski lightweight and solid yet energetic. This ski is stable, lively, fast and fun, a perfect combination in an a fantastic all mountain ski. It is highly responsive and really makes you feel like the whole mountain is your playground.

The K2 AlLuvit 88 would suit any ladies who enjoy taking on the whole mountain. It suits advanced skiers slightly better as they can really unleash its full potential, but any skier would recognise that this is a fantastically versatile, enjoyable ski. We are sure the K2 AlLuvit 88 will be a hugely popular option on the slopes this season.
