Snowboarder Jeremy Jones has created a new collection for Autumn/Winter 16-17 for O’Neill which incorporates his first dedicated women’s line.

Balancing style and function, the new mountain wear range ‘Jones For all’ combines the talents of Jones himself and designer Kyle NG.

The range aims to combine stylish resort wear with highly technical backcountry gear and aims to capture the needs and desires of snowboarders’ and skiers’ across the globe.

Revolutionising backcountry snowboarding, Jeremy spends extended periods of time in the high wilderness, hiking, climbing, camping and riding. The demands on his clothing can be truly extreme and so the new Jones For All range naturally reflects the need for serious function yet pays equal attention to on-the-hill performance.

“Bold and innovative, the new collection focuses on all types of snowboarding, striking a balance between relaxed lifestyle pieces and technical outerwear,” a statement from O’Neill reads.

Jones became a professional alpine racer in 1991 and after a successful career turned his attention to big mountain riding. He has since become one the most respected freeride snowboarders the sport has ever seen with his peers voting him Snowboarder Magazine’s Big Mountain Rider of the Year ten times over.

In 2007, Jones founded Protect Our Winters (POW), a non-profit organization that aims to mobilize the winter sports community and reverse the damaging effects of the global warming crisis.

Environmental concerns contributed to Jones’ decision to turn his back on helicopter and snowmobile  access in the backcountry, and opting to hike instead.
