Helly Hansen’s extensive new range for 2016-17 includes a whole new selection of jackets, mid-layers and base layers.
The new Odin Flow Jacket with H²Flow™ (SRP £200) is a great piece of kit to carry on your ski trip as it is so lightweight and flexible vyou can wear it as a great midlayer for complete weather protection and warmth beneath your outer shell, but equally if the temperatures warm up or you just want to shed layers on the terrace at the mountain restaurant during breaks it continues to provide weather protection and warmth in less extreme conditions if you shed the outer shell.
H²Flow™ is Helly Hansen’s patented and award-winning temperature regulation system which essentially automatically helps you over heating when you’re layered up but equally ensure you have maximum warmth when you need it when conditions are well below freezing. In our tests the system and the garment as a whole worked really well.
The Odin Flow Jacket pairs the H2Flow™ with the Polartec® Power Shield® offering protection and stretch where needed the most, again helping to provide that versatility in a technical jacket making it ideal for stop-and-go activities like snowsports and that it also works for layering up in harsher conditions.
