This is our Head V Shape 2019 Ski Review from ISPO 2018, where we were very excited to check out this new range from Head for the 2018/19 winter season.
A new line for next winter season, the Head V Shape is a new all mountain range, brought in to replace the Instinct range from last season. There are 5 different models – the V2, V4, V6, V8 and you guessed it, the V10. All mountain skis, they range in waist widths, allowing you a good amount of choice when it comes to choosing your perfect ski. The V10 is the widest in the range at 85mm underfoot, so definitely the best for the true, classic all mountain capabilities. The V10 is also the most expensive, but made using the same Graphene material used in the hugely popular Head Kore freeride skis, so you can definitely see where this extra cost comes in.
From high performance skis at the top end to easier turning skis at the lower end, the V Shape series offers great variety in some really good looking skis that we cannot wait to try out.
