This is the Head Monster 83 2019 Ski Review from the SIGB Ski Test 2018, where we sent two of our testers off to try the redesigned Monster.
An established range from Head, the Monster series has been refined for next season – given a bit of a makeover, while retaining many of the elements that were so popular about the old design. Drawing on elements of the highly popular Head Kore series, the 2018/19 Monster is slightly easier to ride than the previous models.
The Head Monster 83 2019 in particular is a great ski, a much nicer all-round ski than the Monster 88, which is definitely targeted more towards more advanced skiers who like to really charge. The 83 on the other hand is quite forgiving but with just the right mix of stability and playfulness.
A confidence-inspiring ski, the Head Monster 83 2019 keeps you feeling good no matter the conditions, which makes it an ideal ski for an intermediate skier looking to further their skills and explore more on the mountain.
