The Giro Crue MIPS kids snowboard/ski helmet is perfectly built for young shredders looking for maximum park performance. This helmet has been crafted to handle the impacts, knocks, and shocks, associated with park riding.
The Multi Directional Impact Protection System, MIPS for short, is comprised of two liners which are attached by an elastic layer. The MIPS technology allows the liners to rotate independently of each other when subjected to an angled force, this reduces the forces on the head, and in turn, reduces the potential for injury for ultimate protection.
The Hard Shell construction makes the helmet extremely durable due to the tough ABS plastic to absorb heavy impacts and then attached to an EPS Foam Liner for added impact absorbing protection. The Crue MIPS features In Form Fit System which utilizes an easy to use dial for a more custom and comfortable fit.
The Super-Cool vents keep your kids feeling fresh all day, optimally positioned to pull hot air out and draw cool air in and the Stack vent aligns with the top of your kids goggles to draw warm moist air away and avoid goggle fog. This helmet is seamlessly compatible with all Giro kids goggles with a removable goggle retainer for a more streamlined look if they prefer.
