This is our Fischer Ranger 3 Ski Boot Review. At ISPO 2018 we took a look at what’s new for the 2018/19 season from Fischer and immediately found ourselves drawn to the Ranger boot series.
We all know and love the Ranger freeride skis and this new boot line is an extension of that range. A really nice, lightweight boot, this one with a 130 flex, they are sure to be popular with athletic skiers. It’s great for hiking and short climbs, with a ski/walk mode that is very easy to unclip and a grip-walk system on the bottom that’s perfect for keeping your grip on snow or ice. However, this does not mean it compromises on downhill performance and keeps those downhill runs a whole lot of fun.
They also look really great, with a dynamic green and black colourway. There are 5 models in the range with varying levels of flex, meaning you have a good amount of choice when it comes to finding the perfect boot for you. There are two women specific boots as well, so there’s something for everyone with the Fischer Ranger.
