This is our Dynastar Legend X96 2019 Ski Review from the SIGB Ski Test in Galtür, Austria. Dynastar’s Legend range is packed full of the latest technology to really ensure the highest quality performance possible across the mountain. But does it work? If the Dynastar Legend X96 2019 is anything to go by, it really really does.
We loved this ski. It’s incredibly versatile and instantly puts a smile on your face regardless of conditions or terrains. You almost don’t notice the 96mm width on piste as it carves absolutely beautifully, giving almost the same performance you would expect from a designated piste ski.
However, unlike a piste-oriented ski, the Legend X96 is also magnificent in powder. The float across softer snow is very impressive, no doubt in part due to Dynastar’s innovative five-point sidecut, which really enhances the floatation of the ski as well as its agility and responsiveness. This, combined with a progressive rocker profile make it the ideal ski for those perfect powder days.
Even over more bumpy terrain this ski handles really well, storing the energy and releasing it in a really productive way. In addition, titanal reinforcement through the ski allows it to really charge when you want it to. With this ski, you truly feel confident anywhere on the mountain.
The Dynastar Legend X96 2019 is a ski we would highly recommend for advanced to expert skiers looking to really enjoy their time on the slopes and explore more of the mountain this coming season.
