Our Dynastar Legend X88 2019 Ski Review comes from the slopes of Galtür in Austria. For intermediate to advanced skiers, the Legend X88 is a dependable, versatile ski that delivers high quality all-terrain performance through all conditions.
With an all-mountain 88mm waist width, a progressive rocker profile and the innovative five-point sidecut that comes across all the Legend range, this is a ski with immense versatility. Even in the conditions we were testing in, which were challenging to say the least, this ski really delivered.
With about 30cm of fresh powder on the slopes, we could really let the Legend X88 show what it’s made of and it did not disappoint. They absolutely float through soft snow, allowing you to really push yourself and feel confident underfoot no matter the conditions.
Boasting Dynastar’s innovative Powerdrive Free technology, this ski has a fun, playful energy. The Powerdrive tech increases shock absorption and power transmission as well as giving you a smooth ride on edge. This keeps you stable across terrains and allows you good responsiveness through short turns. Quick, lightweight and agile, this ski reliable no matter the terrain or snow conditions.
The Dynastar Legend X88 also carves like a dream, with edge grip that you really feel you can rely on, allowing you to really hone your skills on the piste.
