The Dynastar Legend X88 is a smooth and stable all mountain offering for the 2018 season, perfect for those searching for a reliable ride underfoot. This ski has a great all mountain shape and rides very smoothly, making it hugely enjoyable across terrains.

Dynastar have employed their most effective modern technologies in creating this ski. The paulownia and titanal sandwhich construction gives this ski a light and lively feel while also allowing it the strength and power needed to drive hard in to turns.

Dynastar’s Powerdrive Technology increases shock absorption and power transmission as well as giving you a smooth ride on edge. This keeps you stable across terrains whilst unleashing the high levels of energy present in the Legend X88. The Powerdrive Technology also means that this ski is hugely responsive underfoot. Quick, lightweight and agile, it turns like a charm, no matter the terrain or snow conditions.

We found that this ski tends to prefer shorter turns and slide turns which makes it a lot of fun across the mountain.

Increasing your confidence in the ski, the Legend X88’s combination of stability and agility means that you can be much more adventurous with your skiing.

Dynastar Legend X88 2018 Ski Review

That said, at higher speeds this ski also carves beautifully and holds an edge very well. On piste you feel an incredible smoothness underfoot which makes cruising turns hugely enjoyable. It is a great ski for someone who really thrives on piste but want to have as much fun as possible off piste as well.

This ski really is an excellent option for a hard charging resort ski. If you’re after a versatile all mountain ski that is most at home on piste but confidently takes on any challenges off it, the Dynastar Legend X88 is a good option.
