The Dynastar Legend W88 is an excellent resort ski for someone who loves to ski predominantly on piste but occasionally likes to venture off the beaten track.

It’s 88mm waist and gradual tip rocker allow the Legend W88 to handle itself well off-piste. It feels nice and controlled through the powder and powers through any crud that comes your way.

On-piste is where this ski really shines though. It’s hard charging and powerful, with great edge hold, perfect for carving up those groomers.

This ski is very stable at high speed, which is great for anyone who enjoys the feeling of the wind in their hair. This stability is very beneficial for anyone who may want to improve their skills at speed. Not having to worry about the support underfoot gives you confidence that you can really focus on developing your technique.

Dynastar Legend W88 2018 Ski Review

A paulownia and titanal sandwich construction give this ski a lively, light feel, while also allowing it the strength and power to drive into turns. Dynastar’s Powerdrive Technology gives increased shock absorption, power transmission and smoothness.

For those looking to explore the whole mountain and develop their technique across terrains, there are probably better all mountain options out there. However, while the Dynastar Legend doesn’t completely live up to its all mountain credentials, it is a brilliant piste ski. If you’re looking for a decent, stylish piste ski that gives both stability and agility, it’s a good choice.
