Our Dynastar Intense 8 2019 Ski Review comes from the SIGB Ski Test in Galtür, Austria.
The all-new Intense 8 from Dynastar is a super smooth, lightweight ski that will give intermediate skiers the highest levels of comfort and performance on the piste next season.
The Dynastar Intense 8 is a fantastic choice for those looking to work on their skills on a ski that will really build confidence. As an entry level ski or a first buy, you can’t go wrong with this one.
It’s probably not the best ski for those wanting to charge down the steepest of blacks or really hit the highest speeds, but for someone looking for a reliable intermediate ski, the Dynastar Intense 8 is a great choice.
With Dynastar’s innovative women-specific construction, the Intense 8 gives a lovely fluid ride. Combining an Active Light Core with Powerdrive Inside construction means that this ski is incredibly smooth, regardless of conditions, with a natural flex giving optimum levels of comfort and control.
Thanks to an early rise tip rocker, this is a ski that loves to carve a turn on any piste, however it’s also surprisingly agile and responsive in shorter turns, with good precision and edge grip.
The Dynastar Intense 8 2019 offers great value for money and would definitely be a good choice for someone looking for that first ski of their own after having rented for a few years.
