This is the InTheSnow Dainese HP1 RC Ski Jacket Review from ISPO 2018, where we got a sneak peek at the new Dainese collection for 2018/19.

RC stands for Race Carve and this jacket gives a very athletic fit. It’s certainly a high performance piece for a high performance skier. At €899 it’s definitely up at the higher end of the price spectrum, but with Dainese you get a lot for your money and this jacket is no different. It uses top fabrics and is packed with technical features and functional additions that make it a really great choice for anyone who is looking to really explore the mountains.

The 3 Layer outer shell is constructed using Dainese’s own membranes, which make it highly waterproof yet at the same time nice and breathable  – 30k 30 waterproof and 30k breathable, a winning combination! Additional extras include useful big ventilation systems for when you get a little warm on the mountain, as well as great pockets, with lots of space and a well located lift pass pocket.

For the price you get the outer shell jacket as well as an inner insulated jacket. This gives you a lot of flexibility as to what you want to be wearing on the slopes. You can also buy the inner separately if you wish.
