With only the graphics getting an update this season, the Blizzard Cochise 2018 is a dependable, versatile ski that we are sure will remain as popular as ever this season.

This is a ski that is very stable at high speed and prefers longer turns. It has very good edge hold, making it a joy to turn. The Blizzard Cochise likes the higher speeds more than the lower speeds, remaining stable on the edge and through the turns. On this ski, it is easy to initiate turns even in longer length, making carving down the slopes almost effortless and definitely a lot of fun.

This turn performance also extends off the piste. The Blizzard Cochise is really great in powder, with a 108mm waist that gives it brilliant buoyancy. Meanwhile, double layered Titanium keep it well grounded and powerful through even the toughest terrains.

Blizzard Cochise 2018 Ski Review

The Blizzard Cochise is not quite so comfortable in the shorter turns, which can leave you feeling ever so slightly uneasy every now and then, especially if you’re stuck in a tight spot. We didn’t feel quite the same unwavering confidence on this ski as we did on others during our testing, but we still felt it did a very good job across terrains.

With power, precision and a good power, the Blizzard Cochise is a good choice for expert skiers who are able to give it that extra push it needs to really demonstrate its full potential.
