Blizzard Brahma 2018 Ski Review

The Blizzard Brahma 2018 is an incredibly versatile ski that will be the perfect partner for charging all over the mountain this season.

This ski has a slightly stiffer tail than other all mountain offerings this season. This takes some getting used to and may be slightly intimidating to the less confident skier. At slow speeds these skis can be hard work, so they are not the best choice if you are a less advanced skier looking for a gentle ski to support you as you improve. What the strong tail does mean is that an aggressive confident skier is likely to get the best out of this ski. If you push it hard, the power you get back is fantastic.

Blizzard Brahma 2018 Ski Review

At faster speeds we really see these skis reach their potential as they are very stable and hold an edge extremely well. The Blizzard Brahma is a ski that grips reliably and will not let you down. It’s great fun to carve on piste and its easy turn initiation allows you to feel totally in control at all times.

Long turns feel very smooth and stable on the Blizzard Brahma and transitioning from on piste to off piste is effortless.

For an advanced skier, this ski really is the full package as it floats incredibly well off-piste as well. It is very solid underfoot which is fantastic for charging off piste, whether it be across powder or through crud.

Overall this is a ski that has great all mountain versatility and feels very light on your foot. It does not prioritise one area of the mountain at the expense of another, which can happen with all mountain skis. Instead, it offers great support, power and agility across terrains, allowing you to really explore the ski area. If you’re an advanced, adventurous skier, the Blizzard Brahma would be a very good choice for you this season.
