Our Black Crows Vertis Birdie 2019 Ski Review comes from the SIGB Ski Test in Galtür, Austria.

Marketed by Black Crows as a piste ski, the Vertis Birdie 2019 is so versatile and impressive across terrains that we would happily recommend it as an all-mountain option.

At higher speeds it is stable, making big carving turns on piste hugely enjoyable. However, it’s also really impressive at slower speeds, and is surprisingly easy turning, which would make it a great choice for an intermediate skier who might be slightly less confident on the mountain.

With an 85mm waist, it is wide enough to give good floatation off piste, making powder days a whole lot of fun. We also have to add that, as with all Black Crows skis, the graphics on the Vertis Birdie are delightfully funky.
