The Black Crows Camox Birdie 2018 is a very light weight ski that is designed for all mountain use and will be a popular choice this season.

Its light weight makes it ideal for touring and its flared tip is ideal to float across powder and through crud. The double rocker profile allows good versatility and control across terrains. This ski is more forgiving than the unisex Camox model, with a slightly softer Medium flex.

Though it does well off the beaten track, the Camox Birdie is also well at home on the groomed piste. With step down sidewalls that allow for impressive edge hold across hard snow and ice. However, the tip of the ski is quite stiff so you really do need to power into the turn to get that good smooth precise turn that holds an edge.

Black Crows Camox Birdie Ski Review

This ski generally strikes a great balance between rigid and lively. Poplar wood core keeps the ski quick and agile, while carbon Kevlar strips allow it a good level of stiffness and stability. Medium classic camber helps here as well, allowing you to have a lot of fun knowing that you are well supported no matter the terrain.

All in all, the Black Crows Camox Birdie is a very good female oriented all mountain ski that is at home charging across any area of the mountain.
