ATOMIC REDSTER WITH SERVOTEC: BORN ON THE RACE COURSE, BUILT FOR THE PISTE
Ski racing is about going as fast as you can, but staying in control. It requires agility and stability in your equipment, and the new Redster range dials up both. It’s thanks to the latest piece of Atomic ski innovation, Servotec. Straight from the World Cup, this is the new state-of-the-art for all piste skiers.
REDSTER G9: THE FIRST SKI WITH POWER STEERING
Dialing up racing speed and control to an epic level, the Redster G9 ski is Atomic’s latest masterpiece and one of the highlights in the new Redster series. It features Atomic’s new World Cup race innovation, Servotec. The name comes from ‘Servolenkung’ because that’s what it is: power steering for your skis. With Servotec, the ski is quicker to flex. So in turns it makes steering more agile and faster to react. Then skiing straight at high speeds it tightens up, making steering super stable when you need it. The Redster G9 also comes with a High-Speed Sidecut, Full Sidewall, Power Woodcore and it’s Titanium Powered. Servotec features on all top Redsters, including the Redster G9 for Giant Slalom style long turns, S9 for Slalom style short turns and X9 for the fusion of both, so not only World Cup athletes but all skiers can profit from this exceptional combination of agility and stability.
REDSTER CS 130 BOOT: TOP PERFORMANCE AND CONTROL
To go with the new Redster skis Atomic is launching completely new Redster boots, too. Skiing at speed your boots need high performance to put the power down, but also great handling to stay in control. The Redster CS 130, the top boot in the Club Sport range, optimizes both. It comes with a precise, anatomical narrow fit featuring World Cup technology for unmatched foothold. Plus it has a Progressive Race Shell made of a thicker but softer material that provides a more progressive flex and better damping. Already World Cup approved, the CS 130 has everything piste skiers need to ski at speed with total control.
REDSTER CAMPAIGN WITH MARCEL HIRSCHER AND AUDI
Atomic is not just breaking new ground with innovation on the product side, the brand is also launching a digital multi-channel campaign for the Redster series. In this campaign Marcel Hirscher, five time consecutive Overall World Cup winner, will be featured on the new Redster series and in his Audi RS6, which are both born on the race course and built for the piste/road. Atomic and Audi have entered into a unique partnership to support the introduction of the new Redster skis. The campaign will be launched in fall 2017.
