Having undergone a complete revamp for 2018, the Atomic Backland 95 is definitely one of the top touring options this year. Lightweight yet powerful, it makes any terrain feel easy and keeps you confident across the mountain.

With new HRZN tech this year, the Atomic Backland 95 has much better float in softer snow. Combining this technology with the 95mm waist and light weight, the Atomic Backland is a lot more fun on powder days.

With a carbon backbone that keeps it powerful despite this light weight, the Atomic Backland 95 ends up a brilliantly versatile ski. In fact, it’s very surprising how well this can charge considering how light it is.

The Atomic Backland 95 cuts well through crud and puts in a good performance over trees and bumps, thanks to an impressive energy and responsiveness. It is a great ski for the more advanced skier who wants to explore the whole mountain without ever feeling held back by the support or performance underfoot.

Atomic Backland 95 2018 Ski Review

Full sidewalls allow you to feel confident in your edge hold regardless of conditions. This ski can hold an edge very well and can pivot edge to edge really quickly, which is really helpful across tougher terrains or conditions where you do need that slight added confidence.

This is a ski that will happily accompany you anywhere on the mountain and provide you with the performance you need to really make the most of any conditions. The Atomic Backland 95 is a dependable, versatile ski that will give advanced skiers a very good time on the slopes this year.
