The Armada Tracer 98 2018 is a great charging ski that likes to ramp up the speed every now and then. Extremely versatile, agile and adventurous, it does not shy away from any terrain.

Part of Armada’s new Tracer series for 2018, the Armada Tracer 98 is a ski that will happily take you anywhere you want to go and do anything you want to do. A blend of a touring ski and a big mountain option, this ski is unique in its versatility.

It feels comfortable enough everywhere and is light enough that it can be used for a tourer – although much more geared towards the descent. The Armada Tracer 98 works well as a touring ski that can hold an edge to get you out of tricky spots as well as a hard charging ski if the terrain opens up.

The Tracer is a great option for someone wanting to try ski touring but not sacrifice any performance on the piste.

With a 98mm waist, the Armada Tracer 98 2018 has great float off piste and works well on piste if it is slightly chopped up or cruddy. The ski remains stable and smooth at high speeds, which allows you to really have a lot of fun on the piste. With good edge hold and impressive responsiveness, it does exactly what you want it to on groomed runs.

Armada Tracer 98 2018 Ski Review

The Armada Tracer 98 2018 is a very user friendly ski, which makes it an extremely good choice for someone looking to build their confidence off-piste. If you want a ski that can easily handle a change in terrain while giving you the same level of confidence and security as it does on piste, the Armada Tracer 98 is for you.
