Arc’teryx have launched a new down range that’s not only super-warm but also incredibly light.
The Cerium is the lightest and warmest piece in the new down range, weighing in at just 275g for the men’s medium size. It can also be packed down to store in an integrated pouch making it smaller than a bag of sugar.
The streamlined, lightweight hoody, which has an RRP of £260, is filled with 850 white goose down and is intended as a mid-layer in extreme backcountry conditions or as a standalone piece in cool, dry conditions.
The Cerium-LT-Hoody features strategic placement of synthetic and down insulation and has Coreloft™ synthetic insulation, which retains warmth when wet, placed along the hem, collar, sleeves and underarms— areas prone to contact with moisture. The goose down lines the core and sleeves where warmth is most needed.
