GB Park and Pipe in Austria for Pleasure Jam

This weekend GB Park and Pipe snowboarders and skiers head over to Dachstein in Austria for the Pleasure Jam, a Slopestyle World Snowboard Tour season opener, running on Saturday 19th November.

 
Fresh from their return from the Milan Big Air World Cup, Billy Morgan, Katie Ormerod and Rowan Coultas will be joined by fellow GB Park and Pipe snowboarders, Matt McCormick and Henry Shackleton.
 
The 14th edition of the international level event will see some of the world’s best riders head to the Superpark Dachstein to battle it out on the slopestyle course. As well as heats and finals there will be prizes on offer for the best male and female tricks.
 
Following Dave Ryding’s impressive 6th place World Cup Slalom finish last weekend, several of the other Delancey British Alpine Team athletes will be in action in FIS races this weekend. Back in Levi, Charlie Raposo returns from his first World Cup appearance in Soelden joined by teammate Nick Moynihan in the Slalom and GS. Nicole Ritchie and Gregory Saunders will be racing in the Slalom in Kaabdalis and Laurie Taylor, Billy Major, Fraser Middleton and Kieran Troup will be in action in PassThurn. Racing in the Slalom (both FIS and NJR races) in Pfelders, Charlie Guestwill be looking to build upon an impressive start in the Southern Hemisphere season, alongside Alicja Krahelski, Megan Riley, Robert Poth, Zak Vinter and Ashley Breese.
 
The British Nordic Team is in action this weekend, with Annika Taylor competing in Beitostolen, Norway in the Sprint and 10km FIS races. Over in Bruksvallarna, Sweden, Fern Cates, Callum Smith, Sam Cairns, Gregor Young will be competing in the FIS races.
