Bottled water drinks company Evian unveiled an unusual promotional tool when it launched a new version of its plastic bottlers in Asia – a giant walk-in snowdome.
The snowdome – intended to remind consumers of both the purity of Evian’s water and its source in the French Alps – was on the streets of Singapore for four days at the start of the month, when temperatures outside were hitting 36C.
The Evian snow dome idea was first used in Dubai, where a company called Mindshare UAE developed the concept. The cost of the Singapore event is reported to have been around £50,000 (SG$100K).
