Dara O’Briain is topping the bill with Daniel Sloss, Paul Smith, Maisie Adams and Zoe Lyons also performing during the five-day comedy fest.
The festival, established in 2007, will return to Mayrhofen in Austria from Austria 1st – 5th April 2024.
Also already on the bill are festival founders Andrew Maxwell and Marcus Brigstocke along with Emmanuel Sonubi, Barry Murphy, Mark Nelson, Kai Humphries, Nina Gilligan, Tamer Katan, Jack Gleadow, Kate Williams and Andre Vincent as well as Altitude regulars The International Improv Allstars. More acts are set to be announced over the next 10 months.
“Altitude Comedy Festival is renowned for its unique fusion of world-class comedy acts and stunning mountain landscapes. As the leading winter comedy festival in Europe, Altitude continues to attract an unrivalled line-up of top-notch comedians from across the globe. With a reputation for showcasing both established stars and rising talents, the festival guarantees an exceptional blend of side-splitting stand-up, improvisation, and hilarious antics,” a statement from the festival’s organisers reads, continuing, “Comedy aficionados and winter enthusiasts come together on this breath taking Alpine destination for five days of non-stop laughter, captivating performances, and unforgettable memories.”
If you don’t ski or board, it’s snow problem! The resort offers some world class spas, restaurants, bars and views where you can fill your days before the evenings of comedy commence.
There’s also a sled-load of activities such as paragliding, trekking, tobogganing and more which can keep you entertained if skiing or snowboarding just isn’t your thing. Many of Altitude’s performers and guests learn to ski for the first time during the festival, so if you did want to take a beginners ski or snowboard lesson you would never have to do so alone.
“We are thrilled to announce our Altitude Comedy Festival dates and first wave of acts for 2024,” said Brett Vincent, Managing Director of Altitude Comedy Festival. “2024 promises to be our funnest and most sensational yet. The line up of comedians we’ve got in store are all utterly brilliant – we are beyond excited for next year. There’s a reason we were named BEST OVERSEAS FESTIVAL and that we consistently receive 5 star reviews from our guests. Altitude is the ultimate feel-good trip and there is truly no better setting to laugh your (ski) socks off in.”
