For the first time ever, The Times, The Sunday Times and The Sunday Times Travel magazine have come together to announce the winners of the inaugural Travel Awards voted for by their readers.
Thousands voted for their favourite destinations, hotels and travel companies, and on Saturday night (5 October 2013) they rewarded the best in the business with a coveted gong at a glittering ceremony hosted by Sir Ranulph Fiennes at La Vallette Hall on Malta.
Crystal Ski walked away with the prize of the best ski operator, one of 19 categories include the best European, worldwide and UK country, city, hotel, spa and cruises, airline, as well as specialist and mainstream tour operators.
“We are delighted to have received this award. We set out several years ago to improve the service our customers receive when purchasing ski holidays and are pleased that the hard work that went into the successful implementation of our innovative initiatives has been recognised,” said Mike Ward, Crystal’s head of purchasing who received the inaugural Travel Award on behalf of Crystal Ski.
