Leading leisure destination Chill Factore has announced the launch of the new Husky Pups snowboarding programmes aimed at younger children aged just 4-6.
Available to very young children for the first time, Husky Pups will focus on introducing the basics of snowboarding, including balance, speed and control. The Husky Pups will be taught everything they need to know about the equipment, as well as being introduced to the beginner’s lift.
The course is made up of three progressive stages, which help to gradually build confidence on the snowboard with the guidance of Chill Factore’s experienced snowboarding instructors.
Chill Factore has introduced the new lessons to encourage younger children to take up snowboarding, responding to a demand in the market for introductory lessons for youngsters, as well as feedback from guests.
In addition, the existing Husky Dogs programme at Chill Factore has been extended to take kids from the age of 7, a year younger than its previous minimum age of 8. This is to provide a progressive route for children wanting to take up snowsports from a younger age.

The new Husky Pups lessons are a great way to give snowboarding a go at a young age and provide a great foundation for a lifelong love of snowboarding.

We’ve also received a great deal of interest and demand from guests for a lesson offering for very young children. We are pleased that the launch of Husky Pups means the whole family can get involved and make the most of their time on the snow.”
Ed Whieldon, whose son Oliver has been trialling the Husky Pups course, said: “From the second Oliver walked in he’s loved every second of it! We can definitely see his confidence building.
“Watching from the balcony is unquestionably a highlight of our week. Oliver doesn’t always see us watching so it’s great to see him come into his own and the trust we have in the instructors is unquestionable!”
