Former British Champion Skier, Chemmy Alcott, hit London’s transport network, sporting full snow sports attire, skis and helmet, to mark the debut of The London Snow Show at the ExCeL on 21-22 October.
Chemmy surprised commuters by traversing the walkways of Waterloo Underground Station and the heights IFS Cloud Cable car, kitted-up in skis and full winter sports gear.
“I am thrilled to be appearing at National Snow Week’s inaugural London Snow Show this year. The Snow Show has grown over the years and is now bigger and better than ever before and will be in the Capital for the first time. The slopes are more accessible than ever and this is the perfect place for both beginners and those already comfortable with snow sports,” said Chammy.
The London Snow Show will feature expert advice from the biggest and brightest stars in the UK snow sports scene, as well as the opportunity for a community of enthusiasts to shop the latest kit, or book their next winter holiday.
Visitors will be able to brush shoulders with some of the most famous faces in the UK snowsports scene, getting the latest tips and advice from leading experts, top celebrities, athletes and Olympians, including Ed Leigh, British snowsports presenter and commentator; Eve Muirhead, Olympic curling champion; Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards, The British ‘people’s’ champion; Dan Egan, world-renowned skier and pioneer of extreme sports; Millie Knight, four-time Paralympic ski medallist; Neil ‘Nine Lives’ Campbell, pro snowboarder and Talan Skeels-Piggins, paralympic British Team alpine skier.

Chemmy Alcott, a 4 x Winter Olympian with a career high ranking of 8th in the World and widely regarded as one of Britain’s greatest ever skiers will also be there.
Ticketholders will also be able to browse the wares of hundreds of carefully curated snow brands, getting the opportunity to upgrade their gear with some of the hottest kit on the market. Those visiting the brand village will be able to speak with representatives from the top winter brands, providing ski advice, boot fitting, helmets, goggles, clothing and more.
The London Snow Show takes place on Saturday 21st (10am – 5:30pm) and Sunday 22nd October 2023 (10am-4pm) at ExCeL London.
