Chamonix reports all lifts operating and all runs open, it’s good news after the complete ski area shut down a few weeks ago during the extreme snow storm.
The avalanche risk has also dropped significantly from that time when it was on the maximum 5 out of 5 – it’s currently at leave 3.

The last snowfalls were on Friday when 10-20cm of snow fell on the various sectors. Temperatures are now double digits below freezing.
Base depths in the village are at 40m, they dtill haven’t measured up top in the Grand Montets.
