The slopes of Chamonix are in good shape after more big snowfalls at the end of last week.
The avalanche danger level has been high though following previous big snow storms and weather fluctuations.

There’s been 5cm of fresh snow daily over the past few days and base levels are 60 – 120cm.
More than 60 of the centre’s 80+ runs are open and most lifts are operational.
There’s no fresh snow in the short-term forecast at present but temperatures should stay low.
