British Speed Skiing

British Speed Skiing star Jan Farrell is in Vars, France with a selection of Speed Skiers who are trying to break the World Record. He will also attempt to break the British Speed Ski record of 245kph following his top 20 finish in Idre Fjäll, Sweden. Farrell said ahead of his trip to Vars“I finished the World Championships in 20th place in Sweden on the steepest groomed slope on the planet (120% gradient). It was a big fight coming back into the right state of mind after last year’s crash at 217kph. My line wasn’t great and I got thrown around in the middle of the track, but I’m happy that I fought back and made a solid run. After this I feel ready to ski over 200kph this week in Vars”
