A brewery in Virginia, USA, where a state of emergency has been declared ahead of expected large snow storms over the next 48 hours, has been offering a free woolly hat to drinkers to help them prepare.
Winter Storm Stella is expected to bring 60cm/2 feet of snow to the US East Coast with more than 9,000 flights cancelled in preparedness and all schools in the region closed today.
The ‘Snowmageddon Readiness Kit’ from AdroitTheory Brewing, which describes itself as a, “nano-brewery specializing in esoteric and barrel aged beers” comprises the woolly hat and a beer and is offered to visitors who purchase 2 bottles of beer.
AdroitTheory Brewing is located near the ski areas of Liberty Mountain and Whitetail, the hats are available in three colour choices.
