Ski Cool in Val Thorens has introduced what they believe is a new concept in ski school.
“The current trend is for shared consumption: car-sharing, apartment-sharing, groups sharing special offers… so we thought, why not shared skiing?” said a Ski Cool spokesperson.
The idea is that a ski school class is charged at 62 Euros and up to five people can join the class, dividing the cost between how many of them there are.
To try the service you go online before your holiday and enter the dates of your holiday, you ski or boarding level, and a brief statement of what you’re aiming to achieve.
The idea is that groups of like minded skiers or boarders are formed online and agree to share lessons before they actually physically meet in Val Thorens. Once a group is formed communication ad planning is possible between its members.
