10 Oct 15

After the success of last year’s Big Bang Snowboard Show, the SnowDome Tamworth and The Snowboard Asylum will again host two days of snowboarding action on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October.

Taking place during Snowsport England’s 30 Days of Snowsport tour, aimed at creating an excitement about snowsports ahead of the winter season, the Big Bang Snowboard Show will run a Welcome To Snowboarding Snowboard Beginner Taster Lesson for only £10 per person. Suitable for adults and children aged 8 years+, it is the perfect way to try snowboarding for the first time. For younger children, they can join in with the free Burton Riglet Fun Park for 3 to 7 year olds.

As well as taster lessons, British team skiers and snowboarders will be around to give tips on the slopes, or for aspiring freestylers, there is the chance to book onto a free freestyle coaching session with Definition.

There is also the chance to try new 2016 snowboards and boots, plus, there’s an afternoon freestyle park from 2pm on both days and a The Big Bang Jam from 9.30pm on Saturday.

All sessions need to be booked online (including free sessions). Plus there is the Big Bang Snowboard Show special deal; 3 hours recreational pass only £39 adults (£30.60 members) and £33 juniors (£26.10 members) when pre-booking by Friday 16th October.

Riders attending free coaching sessions or demo-ing equipment must be at the recreational standard and purchase a valid recreational pass to cover their time on the slope.
