French ski resorts appear to be trying to out-do themselves for novelty attractions under the spring sunshine in the last month of the season this April.

La Plagne launched its signature spring event, Les Subli’cimes, several seasons ago with a theme of offering lots of fun and unusual themed attractions at different locations around the huge ski area, focussed on the resort’s six main mountain summits.

From past editions guests should expect bungee jumping, reindeer, saunas, jacuzzis and beach bars at the top of the mountains when Les Subli’cimes takes place this spring over 12 days from 5–18 April.

A promised new attraction this year will give skiers the chance to enjoy beard manicures with their facial hair trimmed at high altitude.
