An incredibly snowy past week in Avoriaz to round off 2017 is due to be followed by another super snowy week ahead with about a metre more snow expected by the weekend.

All of the areas 34 lifts are operating and 46 of 51 local trails are open, with most runs and lifts in the wider Portes du Soleil open too.
It looks like a powder week ahead to build on the already amazing base for this early in the season of 200cm at resort level (nearly seven feet of snow), 280cm up at the tops of the runs.
