Winter is when Schladming-Dachstein hits absolutely peak form: Part of Ski amadé, the region awaits with 230 piste kilometers and 81 state-of-the-art lifts, as well as some 100 traditional ski huts whenever guests are in the mood for refreshments.
The heart of the ski region, the Schladming 4-Mountain Ski Area, unites the Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm, while families are certain to feel right at home on the Fageralm, in the Ramsau am Dachstein ski region as well as Ski Galsterberg. It’s a great choice of you’re bored with just one ski mountain, here there’s a choice of four! There are even great slopes open to ski at night.
Wherever you ski or board you’ll find cozy huts waiting for you on the slopes, filled with friendly people and offering delicious local specialities to enjoy.
Away from the slopes you’ll find an untouched snow landscape where you can enjoy the silent winter wonderland or relax in your hotel’s wellness area after an active day. For something different the options include fatbiking over the snow.
Entertainment is important too and this winter will kick off with Robbie Williams, no less, in town performing gigs on the ski slopes on December 7th and 8th 2023 to really get the season-long party started.
