Arc 1950 le Village, the youngest of the Les Arcs resorts, is the only ski area in a list of the top 10 most welcoming destinations in France, according to Booking.com.
“Such a recognition by Booking.com, on the occasion of the Traveller Review Awards, highlights the continuous effort made by the Village to ensure visitors receive an exceptional welcome in an environment perfect for enjoying a memorable experience,” a resort spokesperson said, adding, “Arc 1950 le Village is distinctive for its exceptionally welcoming atmosphere, unique architecture in the Alps and the diversity of its activities and entertainment.”
The Traveller Review Awards 2024 rewards destinations that stand out for the warm welcome and memorable experience they offer visitors. To win, award-winning establishments (of which there are 124,361 in France this year) must have obtained a score of 8/10, or more, from at least three distinct clients of that establishment.
Arc 1950 le Village, which is celebrating its 20th season this winter, was the only ski area in the top 10, placing third of the 124,361 establishments and destinations.
