There’s lots to do for non-skiers, or for skiers wishing to take a break from the slopes, in the Aosta Valley.
Widely available are swimming pools, spa facilities and outdoor activities like ice skating on natural rinks, snowshoeing, winter hiking paths, sledging and cross-country skiing.

Apart from being a great non-ski destination with its shopping, cafes and restaurants, Courmayeur is the home of the new Skyway Monte Bianco, an amazing facility with revolving cable cars ascending the Italian side of Mont Blanc providing spectacular views and a great experience.
From Pila it is easy to reach Aosta’s old town with its impressive Roman remains.
