The Snowbombing music festival will celebrate 25 years from its first staging when it takes to the snow again next spring in Mayrhofen in the Austrian Tirol.
Snowbombing was one of the first of what is now a plethora of festivals staged across the ski world each spring. It’s next edition will run from 8th-13th April 2024.
The first ever Snowbombing Music festival took place in the French resort of Risoul as a DJ and electronic dance music-themed event before moving to spend early editions in Les Arcs, France and Villars in Switzerland. It then settled on Mayrhofen in the Austrian Tirol in 2005 and has been staged there ever since.

Live acts were added to the bill in 2008 with performers lover the years including the frequently returning Fatboy Slim as well as Madness, Pendulum, Example, Mark Ronson, Dizzee Rascal, Grandmaster Flash, Zane Lowe, Grooverider, Tim Westwood, The Prodigy and many others.
This year’s line up has not yet been announced but tickets are already on sale.
