Ski holiday company Inghams have put their 7-night 2024/25 Lapland holidays on sale, making it possible to book a trip to northern Finland up to almost two years in advance (February 2025).
The company says 60% of their winter 23/24 Lapland holidays have already been booked, and warned holiday-makers they will need to book early to secure popular dates and accommodation.
“Lapland continues to be our most popular destination, with both skiers and non-skiers delighting in the experience,” said Inghams CEO, Joe Ponte.
Inghams’ Lapland holidays provide skiers and non-skiers with multiple ‘must do’ winter experiences including the chance to see the Northern Lights, riding in a reindeer or husky-drawn sleigh or sled or whizzing through the snowy forests on a snowmobile.
Skiers and boarders will find modern and well-equipped ski areas with, normally, abundant light fluffy snow on slopes floodlit during the short days of mid-winter.
For 2024/25, Lapland departures are available from 1st December 2024 to 16th February 2025, to a choice of three resorts, Levi, Saariselkä and Ylläs (below), all located well north of the Arctic Circle, at the optimum altitude for seeing the Northern Lights.
New with Inghams for 24/25 is the chance to stay in Glass Cube accommodation located at the top of the of Kaunispää fell, 250km north of the Arctic Circle (below). The new Top Star Glass Cube accommodation provides the perfect Lappish stay. With heated windows covering the front wall and ceiling, guests experience incredible views up to the stars and northern lights. If you fancy a day off from skiing, these cubes are conveniently placed providing easy access to a range of hiking trails and excursions such as snowmobiling.
Deposits of just £150 per person are required with prices starting at £699 per person for a 7 night break to Villa Armas Cabins in Ylläs departing 19 January 2025 from London Gatwick.
