With international top headliners such as Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, Meduza and the Australian twin duo Nervo, the ninth edition of Sölden’s Electric Mountain Festival (EMF) once again thrilled the fans.
A (re)mix of electrifying beats, snow-sure skiing fun and the finest culinary delights was on the program. For the first time as “extended version”, the Electric Mountain Side Events took place very successfully from Monday to Wednesday at locations across the ski area. On Thursday and Friday, a total of 18,000 fans celebrated the Electric Mountain Festival on a 28-metre stage on Giggijoch at over 2,000 meters.
International DJs such as Don Diablo, Nervo, Oliver Heldens, Tujamo, Vini Vinci and others were delighted enjoyed an exuberant atmosphere that prevailed throughout the Tirol resort during the festival.
This year’s “extended version” of the festival not only included additional locations in the ski area with even more live acts, but also a networking event in the ice Q, where partners, management and DJs exchanged ideas at 3,048 meters.
“I love skiing. Whenever there is an opportunity, I am on the slopes. That’s why I also brought my family to Ötztal,” said Dutch DJ and producer Oliver Heldens.
The iconic main stage was equipped with 160 m² LED area complete with pulsating light show and sound effects.
The main event at Giggijoch was included in the Sölden day skipass and are therefore accessible free of charge to skiers and boarders.
Next year’s tenth anniversary edition will be held from 08 to 12 April 2024.
