Electric cars seem to be all the rage in France this winter, in Serre Chevalier you’ll be able to rent one to nip between bases for a few euros an hour, in Les gets you’ll find charging parts and get lift pass discounts if you roll in to town with your own electric car, and in La Clusaz you’ll be able to race on an ice circuit in them.
Located on the edge of the village on the route des Confins, at the foot of the Aravis range, the La Clusaz ice circuit opened its doors last winter.
An original concept and a true first, it is 100% dedicated to electric cars. Visitors will discover the joys of driving without polluting the pristine environment aboard a Renault Twizy, specially equipped for driving on ice.
The cars are available to rent by groups of friends and, supervised by driving professionals, everyone can quickly learn all the intricacies of driving an electric car on ice.
