Davos Klosters is one of the world’s great ski areas. With some 200 miles of ski runs shared between the famous mountain town of Davos, and the neighbouring village of Klosters – equally famous for its royal connections, you’ll be spoilt for choice on the piste. In fact people have been downhill skiing here longer than almost anywhere else – around 125 years, with Sherlock Holmes creator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle one of the first ‘ski tourists’ to visit. More recently the region has taken snowboarding to its heart too.
But winter in Davos Klosters isn’t just about going downhill on snow. Gentler winter activities like winter hiking, cross country skiing and ice sports on the huge rink are also options. The area is famous for its spa and wellness facilities and organises lots of top class events through the season.
It’s the perfect choice for a family holiday or an extended weekend break with friends, and the good news is that there are lots of special deals to make your Davos Klosters holiday even better, for less, this winter. Plus local transport services (bus and trains), use of ice rinks and cross-country trails are all free of charge for overnight guests.
